Car2go is a Daimler-owned car sharing solution that offers Smart Fortwo and Mercedes-Benz vehicles and features one-way point-to-point rentals. After successfully expanding in Europe and North America, Car2go had its first expansion in China in 2015.
B.dgtal helped Car2Go adapt their communication strategy to local sensibilities, while maintaining their global identity. While the sharing economy has had very successful case studies in China, Car2go was a pioneer of the car sharing business model. Their dynamic, young and vibrant service offering needed to be adapted to the specific niche of young professional between 20-40 years old that live in major Chinese cities wanting a more sustainable and practical lifestyle.
After adapting Car2Go’s website to China, with the supporting infrastructure, B.dgtal created a successful mini-site for their launch to help the marketing team gather data about their users.
